GRANTS KICKSTART PROGRAM
Summary
This program aims to kickstart and build out a grants calendar your organization can actually execute. Our firm works to get your grants program rolling by conducting research, creating/refining language about your organization and its programs, and making recommendations for the next steps, which sets you up for success when you submit proposals on your own. This offering is ideal for nonprofits with little to no grant history or established organizations looking to expand into a new geographic territory.
Process
Connect - Organizations with varying budgets and needs reach out to Fund It Forward for assistance in establishing or reviving a grants program for their organization.
Discuss the Need- We learn about your organization and its programs, including your needs and how you envision grants propelling your efforts in the future.
Industry Scan - Our firm conducts an evaluation of similar organizations and evaluates their financial strength, organizational structure, program offerings, and fundraising efforts.
Prospect Research - We construct a prospect research report consisting of applicable funding opportunities using several grant research tools and resources to funders who fit the organization’s needs.
Creating Language - Our firm creates language and narratives about your organization and its programs, which are placed into template forms for your organization to use and customize in your ongoing efforts.
Path to Success - We provide recommendations and a roadmap for your organization to follow to get your grants program moving.
Outcomes
Clients will receive an Industry Scan Report with overviews and comparisons of three similar organizations.
The client will receive a comprehensive prospect report detailing targeted, high-quality funders for the organization, including vital details such as deadlines, ask recommendations, areas of interest, total annual giving amounts, and instructions on how to apply.
Clients will receive grant templates to customize for future grant proposals.
We provide a roadmap of recommendations and steps for the organization to implement its grants program moving forward. Fund It Forward provides two educational meetings to discuss the materials provided.
Fee Structure
There is a project-based, one-time fee for the Grants Kickstart Program, determined by the customized scope of work for the organization. This will typically be broken into two separate fee payments.
