The first step in seeking out grant funding is knowing who to ask. Our knowledge and resources allow us to streamline the process of matching your needs with the right grantmakers. Once we have established what your organization’s needs are, we are able to conduct a research phase in which we will issue a report of potential funding opportunities for your organization. Using the details and recommendations provided in the report, you will have the opportunity to choose which opportunities to pursue.
Once the right grant opportunities are identified, we work to create a captivating proposal that catches the eyes and hearts of funders. We specialize in all types of grants, including: federal, state, local, corporate, and private foundations. There is no grant opportunity too big or too small for us to pursue, as our interests lie solely on fulfilling the needs of your organization.
One of the most important parts of the grant proposal is the budget narrative, or the explanation of how the funds are planned to be spent. With experience in both grants accounting and management, our agency is fully equipped to provide potential funders with detailed and in-depth information regarding the planned use of grant funds. Grantmakers can take stock in an organization that it can trust with their grant dollars, through the presence of transparency and accuracy in the proposal budget.
FEES for service
Fees for grant consulting services are offered through either a flat rate fee, an hourly basis, or on a monthly retainer.
Flat Rate/Per Project Basis-
If your organization is planning to seek 3 or less grant opportunities, a flat fee per proposal is offered for submitting foundation and corporate foundation grant proposals. With the flat rate option, a 50% deposit will be required to start proposal work, with the remaining half due prior to the release of the final proposal(s).
Time spent on work for the client will be carefully tracked and documented to ensure transparency and efficiency. Work performed for the client will be invoiced midway through the month and at the end of the month, with time allocated to each project on the invoice and payment due within 21 days of invoice date.
With a monthly retainer arrangement, a retainer is set for an agreed-upon amount of monthly hours of work. The consultant will be available for conducting grant prospect research, notifying the client of available opportunities, preparing and submitting grant proposals, and providing ongoing guidance and consultation.
The monthly retainer is billed at a 15% discount from the normal hourly rate. Hours worked per month are tracked and a portion of unused hours will rollover into the following month. Monthly retainer payments are due at the beginning of each month and there is a minimum commitment of four months.
