With over 6 years of experience in grants and grants accounting, Chris has a vast knowledge of the grants world from every angle, including mastering the art of writing an effective grant proposal, understanding the grant management process once funding is obtained, as well as mastering the accounting and reporting process once the grant has concluded. Chris was born in Youngstown, Ohio and spent the early years of his adult life in Cleveland, Ohio before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia. Having spent his whole career working with grants in the public sector, Chris ventured over to the private sector to get a taste of the for-profit world and immediately knew that his heart belongs working to ‘do good’ in the non-profit world. His grants experience spans across multiple industries including higher and early education, youth development, community development, veteran services, social services, arts and culture, and environmental safety among others.
